Randy have you any experience with the automatic elements? I know they have not be readily available in the states until recently so there is not much data out there that I could find. The idea, on its face, sounds awesome especially when it comes to amino acids. However, I become apprehensive about the B-Balance, the potassium iodide fluoride, and the iron concentrate products. Is it wise to place these in the sump of a heavily stocked mixed tank (mine :) ) and let it ride? Do these elements require frequent testing to keep within a precise level or can the coral handle a surplus of these elements? At the moment, they are doing fine without the addition but always looking to help my animals thrive.

Best,
Dex

I'm not familiar with these products, so I'll have to look into them.

In general, I am always very skeptical of anything that is supposed to automatically add just the right amount of something (if that is a claim here).

Sea lab 28 is an example.

I wonder what the dose strength is too, saw them this week I store but like most zeovit products its shrouded in mystery

Hello Randy
I noticed you replied to this thread over 3 years ago. I wanted to ask you if you have done any research pertaining to the coral performance of Automatic Elements such as the KZ product line.

Thank you
