Large Coral....Tiny Tank

Hey friends I’m considering setting up a RedSea Nano Max and housing a very big neon toadstool leather in there. It’s about 12” - 15” when expanded.

Think it can work and work easy or is this a pipe dream?

Should work

that’s a pretty resilient coral

since it’s a dedicated tank for just that coral I don’t see why it wouldn’t work

i would definitely keep up with water changes, run some carbon in the tank and get the colony some Nice flow

It works had one in a 29 bio cube and had to frag it often to keep it small enough though
