Leak test question

Quick question want to do a leak test on my tank and I have my rocks in there. Dry rock not live. Can I leave it in there will I fill it up with regular water from the hose?

ok well dont keep the hose water in the tank permenently but just take out the rock for the test! good luck!

Assuming your leak testing outside I would pull the rock since you'll have to pull it to move the tank into the house anyway.
