I have been using the black box for a while and my corals are thriving so there is no need to debate that. I decided to add another to get complete coverage and I cannot get them to sync up. Does anyone know how to do this. The instructions that came with it are pretty vague and the usual Asian translation loss is confusing.

Thanks

If they aren't designed to sync you are pretty much out of luck. The best you can do is program them identically and and try to set the times as close as possible.

If you post the exact type of black box we might be able to help determine if they can be synced.

I know they can be synchronized because it does have instructions. I just seem to be missing something. Not sure of the exact model. I got them from ebay.

Can you post the ebay link? Might be able to use that to find something useful.

I cant even get it to pair with the remote as a stand-alone.
Some black box units need to be turned on while the remote is set to pair. It will only pair while the light is going through its start-up.
