After two years of running LEDs I've made the switch back to MH. Up until today I had been running two 120w standard evergrow "full spectrum" fixtures. I replaced the LEDs with two 250w radium's. I believe that I should shorten my photoperiod, but what do you guys think? If it helps my LEDs were ran from 12:00 to 10:00 blues, and 4:00 to 8:00 whites.

Don't think you need to switch the time frame going from LED back to Halides. LED are more intense than Halides are, your corals should be fine with the intensity.

i went from LEDs to MH last spring. im happy did I but you need to let the corals get used to them. I have traded healthy corals from LED tanks to MH tanks and the MH fry them in a few days.

I made the switch from radions to 250w radiums last year and I didnt do any type of acclimation. The corals were fine. The only thing I would keep my eye on is temps.
