There's 5 in there at the moment (2 in the sump) and a Sally lightfoot crab.Throw in 3 emerald crabs and they will usually keep that type of stuff from happening.
I know right... and they knew that i put a new sheet up every morning and afternoon... so they will **** on the glass and wait... and as soon as it hit the water.. it was a race to the oposite side if the tank.. both tangs and the fox face won't go near the nori if the turbos are there...Wow, that is some Gangsta turbos.
I like sally lightfoots better than emeralds... they are way faster and eat way more..There's 5 in there at the moment (2 in the sump) and a Sally lightfoot crab.
Ron, this has been some of the best advice. I recently quit the job that was leaving me neglecting my tank and have really been making a dent in any hair algae. I also now from time to time take a tooth brush to the rock while siphoning into a filter sock in my sumpClinton, I know this is an awful difficult suggestion to follow, but have you tried going in and pulling the hair algae out by hand? It can be a very laborious project, but I found the more often I pulled it off the rocks, less of it would grow back. And there was less of it for my algae eaters to go after and finish the job. It took me about a month of pulling algae every 3 or 4 days as it grew back, but eventually it was removed completely to the point that the algae eaters kept the tank clean.
Good luck.
. No doubt with the hair it's a physical hands on approach to make it better.
