Hi all,
I'm getting a lionfish soon and I would like to know what is compatible.
I have a 60gl thats been running for almost 3 months I have two maroon clownfish two domino damsels a decorator crab one blue and yellow damsel some snails and some hermits.

P.S.
Preferably something that can eat live guppies.

I am by no means an expert, so let's have the #reefsquad take a look at this.

What type of lion are you going to get? My understanding is if it fits in their mouth, it's food!

What kind of lionfish are you getting? A adult volitan lionfish can get over 12" and would be way to big for your tank.

I asked the same question....but just noticed the screen name....so maybe a mombasa

How big are the clowns, just get a lion not too big and they will be safe. The damsels will likely become food, the dominos right away, but the yellow tail can be quite elusive and may survive for a while. Eventually the mombasa will get him though. Mombasa's usually don't come in under 4", so the clowns need to be at least 2.5" better 3" to be safe.
