I been reading and reading different things to try and get my lionfish to eat. He only goes for live guppies. But I don't want my other fish going after them and or them getting sick from just trying to get my lion to eat. He's about 2 1/2" long. He's a dwarf so wint get like a minster 15 " but I don't want him to starve. I tried silversides, ghost shrimp, krill, talopia, shrimp on a ghost stick as an imitation of a small swimming fish and he ignores all but the darn guppies lol. Anything else I can try??

Woof! I'll be honest, you're in a bit of a pickle. Are you able to set up a temporary training tank?

Yea I can try that. Lol by the time I try to get food to him it's gone. My flame hawk is a beast. Like a boss....dropped guppies right by the lion and the hawk ate 4 in a row. The lion got one and done.

Ya, I can see that being fierce competition. I trained with others in the tank using a net to corral, but it's hard to do. Even though setting up another tank seems like a lot of work and a pain, once it's done, you'll realize how much easier the task now is.
