Should have seen my wife freak. Then I told her they have to stay In the fridge, uncovered. :D

haha...my wife did the same thing when she saw them in the refrigerator the first time. They are a great food and really good at getting picky eaters to eat. Im lucky enough that a LFS gets a new shipment every week, I wish more would carry them considering how so many fish take to them right away.

Cant believe I forgot to give AQUATIC FOODS the credit. awsome transaction

So how exactly do u keep them fresh and alive? I just put mine in the freezer. It's a little tube but i'd like to knw please

Merlberg, I just keep mine in an old flat tupperware container with about 1/4" to 1/2" of RO water and put them in the fridge with the top partially open. I change the water every other day and they do just fine.
P.S. mini fridge in the garage keeps wife happy with no worms in her fridge. And beer for me.

I bought two keepers from Aquatic foods. They are double layered So the screen bottom one sit's in a container of water. Rinse with RO water once every day or two. keep them in the fridge between 40 and 50 degrees. I put them too far back the first day and the top layer froze and they are all still alive and fine. No food necessary but you can use flake or pellets

I also have the worm keepers but before that a shallow disk and I rinse them every other day with cold tap water, I would also through in some flake or other fish food, but that isn't really needed.

LRS, PE Mysis, live black worms and live brine are absolute staples! Any time I get a new fish I am sure to have either live brine or black worms. Fish go nuts! Learned about the worms from @Paul B, think he also soaks his in some fish oil.

@Wiz Interested to see how long that supply last you, and how much/often you feed?

I fed a lot the first two days. Got excited lol. Doesnt look like it put a dent in it. I'm guessing atleast 2-3 months. Maybe longer. Thats why I inquired about feeding them. I was told they live on there own mass. But I want them to stay healthy and fat. Ill keep it updated:-)

I keep mine in a DIY keeper in the basement - a tupperware container filled with about an inch of water and a long flexible airstone to keep the water recirculating. I feed them a bit of flake food every once in a while and change the water once a week or so. I have some fiberglass window screen material in the bottom and they tend to migrate below it. The basement stays at a pretty consistent 70 degrees.

At feeding time, I suck up a few with a turkey baster and spray them into the tanks. The fish go crazy for them. I haven't tried to target feed the corals but they will eat the worms if some happen to land on them.

It was suggested to clean them everyday. I figured every other is ok. A whole week! Any losses?
Also it said to keep them in fridge between 40&50º. I accidently froze the top layer and they lived fine. Half a worm frozen in ice and the other half riggling. Lol 70º! Really? These things are crazy tough huh

I haven't had any losses yet. I know that PaulB also keeps his in the basement with a DIY keeper.
