Sounds good guys. I suppose as long as their water gets changed once in a while and they eat a bit they should be fine. I will have to get a mini fridge. Although winter is coming up, I could put them in the garage in a container or something.
I agree months. But you have to change their water every day. Takes less than a minute. Just dump them in a fine mesh net (brine shrimp net is ideal), dump out their old water and add new water.

I was using the freeze-dried for a year or two because I couldn't get any live ones. The fish readily gobble them up, but I don't know how nutritious they are. I still have a bunch on hand and put a cube in with my nori in a mesh feeder, and all of the fish - except for the Mandarin - pick at it.

Update.
Almost month and they are alive and well. I put some fish flakes in every 2nd day then change the water every 3rd day. The fish like them ok. But no more than they like frozen mysis. And my manderin pair won't touch them.:-( this had me upset. But I found that if I use them at night before bed using a syringe and some hard air line tube, my hard to feed lps and sps love them.
so that's mainly how I'm using them. Occasionally during the day as a secondary fish food. But mainly at night for coral.

Don't forget though, there's a reason why things on this subject don't come out very often. (links, books, etc) It's all ready been done before... Once you understand how the cycle works, the rest is all gravy. Don't OVERthink it... GL.

No. They're not the same thing. We're fine with disagreement...it's one of the things that advances the hobby. Feel free to disagree with someone, but do so respectfully. It's not necessary to be rude in order to voice a difference of opinion."Search your feelings, you know this to be true.." (or something like that)
On a side note. is being courteous and conformity the same thing?

Update.
Been 2 months and one week. For the last month I've been putting crushed fish flakes in with them on sat night and changining the water on sunday night. so once a week feeding and cleaning. I'm almost out but they are as lively as ever.
