Can you guys post pics of you various live sands in use. It’s exceptionally difficult to tell color online. I’m considering a larger grained sub like the Caribsea bimini pink.
I'm sure you've checked out the colors on https://caribsea.com/aquarium/#marine-substrates In my eyes, almost all of the off-white sands appear the same color to me. If you're looking for a larger grain, I would consider the Natural Reef from CaribSea rather than Bimini Pink. Bimini still has the smaller grains mixed in with the larger and they can blow around quite a bit once you crank up the flow for higher flow corals. I currently have the Fiji Pink in one tank and future tanks after that have been bare bottom because my flow is limited by the sand in that first tank. If this is for your nano, I think a heavier substrate is even more important since you don't have as much room to keep your powerheads away from the sand bed.
After seeing the Bimini it included sand sized aggregate which was too small for my liking. I ended up going with the reef mix which is a larger grain size.
