I recently bought a IM 50 lagoon tank and although I don't have it yet I have started my Aqua scape. You'll see in the pics below what I have done, but I want to integrate more rock into it and make it look better. The cardboard the rocks are sitting on is the size of the bottom of the tank for reference. Ignore the messy room and the Lochness monster poster board.

You can probably see my existing tank set up, and it is not to pretty hahaha. I would appreciate any type of feedback!

greetings.
welcome to the show.
additional info needed.
what, if any, types of coral do you intend to keep?
what, if any fish do you intend to keep?
what, if any, goals do you want to accomplish with the scape?
what I'm asking with the last question.... my goal with my scape, besides coral placement and hiding places for my fish, was to hide everything not "reefy" in the tank.
my return line, my overflow, my heater and my two gyre pumps.
what do you want to do?

I intend to keep mostly lps and softies with a one or two sps. For fish I have a pair of clownfish and pajama cardinal fish, with a yellow goby and orchid dottyback. As for goals with the scape, only thing worth hiding would be the gyre pumps, but I don't even mind those at that. I have a sump for my heater and such. As long as it looks good and can get some good flow id be happy.

Make sure to leave at least an inch and a half to roughly 2in from any of your Aquascape to the glass this will allow you to get a algae scraper a flipper a great white any of those other kind of cleaners in there to scrub the glass all the way around without having the bump into rocks or have places that you cannot . Clean

I like later pictures better than first ones. Thinking that front left rock should be slightly larger but flatter. Like your typical deserted island, low flat with two palm trees
