Looks like eggs

It looks like a clump of eggs. I've seen it once before and it looked like my SL was eating it.

I have:
5 snails
1 Sally lightfoot
1Hermit crab
1 anemone shrimp
1 common purple anemone
And a bunch of mushrooms and rodachtis

Could it be the anemone shrimp?

Kind of looks like “cotton candy” algae. But can’t really tel for sure. Is it soft to the touch or a bit stiff?
