I got home after a long day of A&P and MicroBio at school.. I noticed that my BTA was not facing upwards like it always does during the day stretching towards the light from the tunnel it live is. This time the BTA was full oral disk open with the biggest bubbles I have ever seen streaching towards the dark corner of the tank ( under his overhang towards the substrate). As I walked closer to the tank, I say my condy laying there mouth gapping and tentacles all deflated. I know they did not get into a fight because they have been living in the same area for months now. They have rubbed tentacles together in the past with no ill effects.
I wonder if the BTA knew what was going on from the chemicals that the condy was releasing and was trying to get to it.
Any thoughts on this?
