I have a BC29 with fish and coral, having a bit of red mist on the glass. Today's testing showed low calcium (375) and low alkalinity (6), I'm wondering nif that could be the problem? I am not good at dosing and such but should I be concerned and if so, what is the best way to raise these two?
Thanks for the info! Merry

I two part with red sea kh 9.9 my calcium 430 but I don't think that what you have on you glass it most likely algae

I’d have to guess that the low numbers indicate a lack of water changes.
That’s easy way to get the parameters back in line.

I don’t think that’s the red either.
Most likely a cyano or alge.

Water changes will also help reduce the nutrients and dissolved organics in the water. My self , id do 5 gals a week for a month with a little scrubbing before each one.

Ime , the back chambers can get prettty funky. I’d siphon the water from back there.
