What is the best way to safely raise NO3 levels? I turned off my fuge light, started dosing Neo-Nitro and started feeding the tank reef chilli. What else can I do?

That's a good start. Feeding the fish more and adding more fish can also help if you have a low bio-load. If you have a skimmer you can run turn that down to only run a couple of hours a day. There are many options depending on your current nutrient exporting and feeding regimens. What do you use for filtration and nutrient export? What is your bio-load and feeding schedules?

I do have a skimmer that runs 24/7, but could unplug. Tank is 120g with sump running a fuge (which I've turned off the light yesterday).

Bioload:
4 bi-color chromis
3 blue/green chromis
matted pair of clowns
yellow tang
tomini tang
flame angel

I was feeding frozen every other day and nori every other day.

I had a similar problem recently as dosed neo nitro as well. I had to almost daily dose for about a week, and then weekly dose. I found dosing most affective if I turned the skimmer off for about an hour after I dosed. I think the skimmer was pulling some of the neo-nitro back out of the water. But I can not prove this.

I'm dosing 30 ml sodium nitrate a day in 125g to keep No3 at 10ppm
