Lugols solution questions

Hi fellow reefers,
I was wondering about lugols iodine dips for corals, like after fragging and for disease ect.. has anyone used this stuff before? What ratio do i mix it ? How long do i dip for different coral?

I usually do a 10 minute dip with 10 drops of lugols to a quart of tank water.

Ok cool,is this for all coral or just certain kinds ? Is there any that should not be dipped? Also, i dont know if this matters but this lugols is a surgical grade ..has to be removed with a needle ect.. is this the same stuff your using at 10 drops?

I honestly don’t remember the exact concentration of what I use though I will check today. I have not found any coral that won’t tolerate the 40 drops per gallon concentration.

I have even doubled this in cases where the infection looked particularly bad.
