Magnesium dosing???

You can raise magnesium by using magneisum sulphate one time only. Grocery stores and pharmacies sell it cheap. Dont raise it more than 100ppm total.

If you use it more than 100ppm worth the sulphate in your water will get unnanturaly high.

The fix is to use a balanced mix of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulphate with 9 parts magnesium chloride and 1 part magnesium sulphate. Then sulphate doesnt get higher. But you gotta buy mag chloride too.

Get your mag up to 1250-1300ppm. Thats what seawater has got usually.

As what I already read, I believe that you could throw liters of Mag that the uprise effect shall disappear in the following days. It seem that it gets transformed in other compounds.
But let the specialists get in front and explain. I'll learn it also.

Measure the parameters of your new water before doing the change then tweak it to compliment what's happening in your display. In other words, bring up the Mg level of your new water then do the change.

Got a new bucket of salt and properly mixed before use. Mg was at 1250ppm in the new mix. DT was at 1140. I added it as is. 20% wc. I'll check mag levels when i get home today. Thank you
