hi, i’ve had my tank running for 3 months now and i have been performing 10%-15% water changes every 10 days, a few days ago i had a nitrite and nitrate spike and i don’t know what from, my params were pretty stable up until then, even after i added a few coral frags. the only thing i can think of is a dead crab or something i have dosed my water w prime and it’s been working. today my nitrites were 0 and my nitrates were at 18, i like to keep mine under 10. to help this is did a 25% water change and rinsed our the filter and media in old tank water. about 3 hours after the water change i here some tapping on the glass from across the room, my clownfish is ramming into the glass and twitching. i’ve seen him twitch w the female in the tank but this was different, he was swimming erratically, seems to be breathing faster than normal, and won’t stop twitching. i don’t know if this has something to do w the water change but i’ve never seen him like this and i don’t know what to do. the other clown is acting completely normal. the video i attached isn’t as bad as it currently is but it’s the best i could get

Can you catch the clown and give it a freshwater dip? Sometimes flukes within the gills will spasm causing the fish to twitch and jerk, an most importantly the spasm can interfere with the fish's ability to breathe.
