Hi guys/gals,
I just got my biocube 32 cycled and ordered two gold striped clownfish. They're both about 2 1/2" and I've had them about 4 days. I think I messed up and bought two of the same size when I should have bought one large and one small. They fight all the time and have torn each other up a little. I realize they are establishing "who's the boss" but at this size will they or is it going to end in a death? I wouldn't even be making this thread if I had a lfs that does saltwater but I'm 1 1/2 hours from Houston and can't make the trip very often.
This is what they're doing. One clown swims around and the other stays up at the corner of the tank. From time to time the more aggressive one swims up and chases him a little.
Just give them time?

I love them and imo they're the most beautiful clownfish but they might not be for me. I want something more peaceful and while it may end up being a good pair, I would like to at least have one more fish in there. We'll see, I'm going to give them some time.
