Hi,
Recently I had some corals shipped to me, 3 sps and 1 zoa. They came in a very nice ABS plastic rack, holding 4 frag plugs. I always dip my corals in CoralRX, followed by another dip in clean saltwater with hydrogen peroxide, and visual inspection. This time I used the rack to dip it into the CoralRX solution and within 15 seconds all of the SPS RTNed. The flesh literally sloughed off; I've never seen anything like it. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. Or if they know of other materials that potentially interact with CoralRX. I've been using the same bottle for months without issue, and it's still within the expiration date.
