Working on some tank maintenance and notice my midas had something hanging out of it mouth. It eating fine and being active anyone know what it is. Sorry pictures are not the best. He very active

Could be a parasite. Is it still there?
 
Turn out ot was something he was carrying around.. after a few hour he finally spit it out.. what a goofball
