Mini Maxi Anemone

I think... this guy is called a Mini Maxi Anemone, not sure. I just have a simple question. You can see the “filament“ coming from his center... is that just him pooping? It is morning here and my lights have been off all night and still not back on yet, so he is in his “Mini” form : )

I should have mentioned that I do hand feed him “re”-hydrated krill every 2 or 3 days. He did not get one yesterday.
