Mixing candy cane

Okay so I was talking to someone showing off my tank and he pointed to my candy cane and told me iv seen those mixed never separate. Can I put a frag of one and glue it to the other colony ?

You could try it. But they might sting each other.

That's what I'm worried about but it works with fragged mushrooms for me although it doesn't look as good as I expected

You can cut one head of each and glue them together and see if they make it

Coral is a living organism, so you can't really expect them all to grow together. That would be like cutting an apple and a banana in half and expecting them to grow together

Some corals will fuse just as some plants will. But most corals wont. Only ones ive seen are monti caps and chalices.i havent seen any mushrooms do it.

It's cool the only thing is that it has like it's not a circle it is going up so it's more heart shaped

the small one is it And the big one is one the other is drifting in my big tank it's half wight with green and if you can see the purple
