Mixing tangs

Guys I have a question almost identical to this one so i didnt think it would make sense to make a new thread but with a twist. So I have kept tangs together but I want to challenge it even more now. I have never kept a group of zebrasomas together. A new build i set up last night 6 feet long 3 feet wide quite a bit of space but as a frag tank so no rock. Is this going to help the tangs live together as there is no place to make territory or will the aggression be worse?

Its my experience with Zebrasoma, breaking the line of sight does wonders for keeping things calm. That said, I've never tried what you're proposing.

Not to deflect your question but just a thought. You could always add some PVC elbows or something just like in a QT. Might fit in with the look of a frag tank as well.

Good idea! Im gonna check home depot and see if i can find elbows big enough if not I will order some and try it out.

Ok sounds like a plan.. I really wanted a powder blue but the last thing I want is for any of them to get hurt. I’m going to be getting them on Friday since I’m off work Saturday and Sunday that way I can monitor them.
Hi! Did you the tangs? If so how’s it going? I hope you got what you wanted and they are playing nice. You have such a large system it should work.

Hey guys!

I really need help! I have read a lot about adding multiple tangs to an established aquarium and I’m just worried and confused. I have a 400 gallon establishes tank with a gold rimmed tang, two Maine mocha clowns, a flame angel, and two butterflies. I want to add more tangs to my tank. I had read that the powder blue tang should be the last to be introduced into an established tank so that’s why I didnt get one yet. My gold rimmed runs the tank. I heard that if you introduce multiple tangs that it can help minimize aggression, is this true? Or did I do everything wrong already?
I have 4 tangs in a 75 powder blue naso yellow scopas

Wow now thats what I call luck! I have never heard of someone pulling off that many tangs in a 75 let alone a powder blue without it dying from stress. Props. I have one in a 6 foot by 3 foot tank and already think its getting too big for it hoping to upgrade soon maybe go 12 feet next year. Anyways heres a bad picture of my baby, pushing 9 inches soon :)
