Mixing tangs

I would just do 3 of them for a 5 foot tank

I’m doing 2 for my 90, and more passive ones
(Chocolate and tomini, and one spot foxface maybe)

the chocolates are gorgeous but i think i have to have a purple tang - one of my dream fish & i finally have the space

I wanted to add a chocolate but worried it won’t last .
I didn’t think a yellow tang was so aggressive

the foxface is next in line for most aggressive

really? i thought foxface were fairly passive?

The mirror or printed picture of the aggressor helps .

yes i think mirrors definitely help but i think the best way is probably to add them all at the same time right? or if not, at least all as the same size

Tang compatibility almost always comes down to bodyshape. Similar or near-exact bodyshapes will most likely turn on one another .... either right away or eventually

this is true but in the wild they aren’t stuck in close quarters & there are hundreds of them to disperse the aggression

With an endless reef of algae to chew on at will. In my tank, I added several mirrors and two algae clips.

Would these 4 tangs cohabitate well in my 5 foot reef?
1 Yellow eye kole tang
1 purple tang
1 convict tang
1 chocolate tang

Could I also have a tomini or would I be pushing it?

Probably be ok add at the same time I have 5 tangs in my 150 3 purple 1 kole and 1 Hippo the 3 purples and Hippo all added at same time
