Hey guys, this is my first time posting. I have a 25 gallon mixed reef tank and two weeks ago I noticed my four montiporas looking faded. They weren’t bleached, they just looked less vibrant and pale. Everything else in the tank looks great, zoas, favias, 8+ different acans, just the montiporas aren’t happy. I haven’t really done anything to my tank recently and I haven’t added anything so I’m quite perplexed. Below are my current parameters. (I do have red planeria flatworms that I am currently battling but I don’t think that is this issue as I’ve been fighting this fight - without chemicals - for 6+ months)

thanks in advanced ☺️

parameters:

Ph: 8.0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5
Salinity: 1.022
Calcium: 410
Magnesium: 1120
Kh: 7.5
Phosphate: .50

Your salinity is a bit low. What's your lighting intensity and light schedule like?

Do you know what par they are under? I’ve noticed when mine get too much light they start to get faded.

I’ve actually never checked my par levels - my LFS has a meter I can rent, I’m definitely gonna check that out. What would be ideal for montipora?

I basically replicated Radion AB+ light schedule with my AI Prime. And yes, I’ve been trying to bring my salinity up...i really need to get that under control
