MP10 glass thickness

I know Vortech say maximum glass thickness is 3/8" but has anyone tried it on a 12mm/1/2" tank. An MP40 would probably be overkill, not to mention more expensive, on a 170 ltr tank.

I have before, but it didn’t work well. Very easy to knock off. Best bet would be to jump to the mp40, even though it does cost more. You may want that extra flow at some point.

Try and look for a used one, they come up quite a bit.

I agree just do the MP40 as the ability to have extra flow if you need it is nice. I’ve used MP10s on 1/2” glass and they work fine though.
