I have read that mp10 is good for up to 50gal. But do you think I will still get good water movement in a 4 foot 75? I had a mp40 to loud for me so I traded it off. I really liked the short pulse mode for the nice wave. Hoping that someone can tell me if i will still get a nice wave in the 75 with little noise.

I'd love to tell you that a mp 10 would be perfect for you, then sell you one. But IMO a mp 10 is not enough for a 4' tank.
I don't think 2 would be enough, but it also depends on what you want to keep.

I have two mp10's in my 55 and I often wonder if I should have gone with a MP10 and a MP40.

Forgot to add a few things. The mp10 will not be the only flow I want it mainly for the wave from short pulse. I will be making the tank Sps soon. I have about 30x turn over with my power heads alone and about 900gph from my return pump.

I have a friend that had two mp10's in a 55 and was way underwhelmed with them. Ended up selling them and just going with koralias.

I started off with one mp10 then went to 2 mp 10's then to get what I wanted I had to go with a mp40 and a mp10

I have one mp10 on 3' tank and plenty of flow for sure! On 4' prob need 2 but thinking tank thickness would be an issue. So magnet prob won't hold (then again I have an oceanic tank and believe they are thicker than other 75's not sure though)

Before you go any further, double check the glass thickness. The MP10 is for glass thickness up to 3/8".

I might try and trade a 48in blue reefbrite for a mp10 have one laying around

I have 2 mp10w on the back glass of my 75 and a koralia 4 at each end. It makes a nice wave in short pulse mode and breaks up the laminar flow of the koralias. I would not use the koralias if I didn't have sps.

I have 2 Mp10's on one side of my 75, and 1 Mp40 on the other. I will try and get a picture and show you how I have them placed on the glass. I love the flow and so does all of my SPS. The 2 mp10s are on the lower half of the glass, and the mp40 is on the top half.

Took a quick picture with my phone.. here is what I was talking about. The effect on the aquarium is that of that entire wall is a powerhead covering that entire rock with random flow :)
