MP10 Issue

Got an MP10 second hand (2 actually, but that one works great), and the wet side was causing problems so I got the seller to contact ecotech and send a new wet side. All was good until last night when I woke up to it clanging against the glass like it was mis-aligned somehow.

Tried to line it back up and get it going again, but the wet side is just not spinning correctly. Can tell when I look it it underwater.

When I take out the wet side and shake it a bit the base of the propeller seems to come out a bit like its not snug in place. It's similar to the one I had replaced. My other one does not do this.

How do I take it apart and try to line it up or put it back together correctly?

Any ideas?

Line them up when the pump is off. Trying to do it when the dryside is running can be problematic

But yah. What he said... also make sure the glass is clean. Dirty or smudged glass can also make it a challenge. I kinda push and twist while off until I get resistance on both sides then I know it's sticking correctly. Then make small adjustments to get alignment just right before turning them on. Also, that plastic guard (donut shaped piece on the wet side) likes to not stay back and starts getting smacked around by the impeller after cleaning for me.
