So I have a 240g tank, 8x2x2, I have 2xMP60s on each side running Reefcrest 100% antisync. The flow in the middle seems pretty lack luster. Any suggestions? Picture of tank added for reference.

My system is a bit bigger but I have an MP40 in the middle for that exact reason

My MP60’s are just run on reef crest independently

What size system and what percentage are you running everything at? I like the idea of separate reef crest for more random flow. Also where is your placement? Should I play them higher?

There’s a picture of the new tank empty and full on first page of my build thread

Link below and at side

The MP’s are on around 95% but will go to 100% for the main part of the day

If you have enough clearance, putting the MP40 on the back wall helps - I do that on my 8x3x2 tank. I ales end up doubling my MP60s on each end, though my tank is a foot deeper. You could also try running the MP60s on pulse mode for part of the day.

Was thinking that. Old tank scares me with small waves.

I think the mp40 option is going to be best. I have an old gyre I might run too. Think that might also give the desired effect.

Until I can afford another mp40
