Well I have the new tank up and cycling so I was thinking maybe getting a bunch of $10 zoa frags and putting them into the other tank while this cycles , to give them a chance to grow and mature. Question is has anyone had any experiences with him? I did a google and the reviews are 50/50. The more recent reviews are better than lets say a year ago, but I wanted to see if anyone has a first hand experience with him.

I had no luck with sps from him but zoos and lps all made it so stay away from the sps and I think you will be fine

i just received an order for someone in the club a few weeks ago.... when they arrived they were ICE cold, the packing was horrible, a few looked like poo on arrival, cant speak for how they are now but most were softies. i definelty wouldnt order until it warms up....

buy local from club memebers for best combo of price and survival. i have had 50% survive with mrcoral, but they are dirt cheap!

50/50 because survival rate is about 50%. The uglier ones will survive, the ones you really wanted not. ALL frags are fresh cut, probably the day he ships ($20 for the encrusted ones). He uses Walmart hand warmers for heat packs and they don't last. Also uses 1/2" styrofoam lined boxes which don't insulate well. Very little water with the frags as well. Most of his pics are taken under heavy actinic so bear that in mind. He then promises to replace them on the next order, yadda-yadda, and NEVER has he followed through for me. Stay far far away; you do get what you pay for (ripped off, IMO, in this case).

Ok well I am going to be in town next weekend for my birthday anybody got anything that needs a trim? My research is mainly focuse on paly's and zoas, but now that I have a suitable light I've always wanted a green birdsnest.

I got a free Pocillopora to start you off or a Ora birds of paradise for $15.

I have an eagle eye that I could frag, but I've never really fragged anything, or really even tried...

I probably won't be able make it out this weekend but I will totally take buy or take all the zoa frags I can get my hands on.

I have to say I bought 10 frags for $100 and I have lost 1. I was really really happy and that was 3 months ago or so they are growing slowly as all small frags do. but they are growing and I have been happy. I always worry about any livestock when you are shipping it espically in the summer and winder months.
