I'm cleaning my used Live rock i got from FB MARKETPLACE. Its now dipped in muriatic acid. How long should I let it sit?

Muriatic Acid is HCl, It combines with limestone rock (CaCO3) to produce H20, CO2 and CaCl. So when you combine muriatic acid with dry rock, you are destroying a thin layer of rock or maybe a thick one if you got really aggressive with the HCl. The reaction is fast so it should be over in 15 minutes or when the bubbling stops.

Not too long... muriatic acid will react with the calcium hydroxide in the live rock and corrode it.
