My eel won't eat

I got this eel a few days ago and I transferred my eel to a new bigger tank last night it's been 24hrs now and he won't eat what can I do? Or is it normal? He haven't eaten since I got him and it's been 4days. The food I have is silversides. Please help I don't wanna lose him.

Lol don't worrie,,,,just give it time it'll eat. I went through the same thing a couple months ago and my didn't eat for 3 weeks..now he can't eat enough

I've kept many eels and all but one have been voracious eaters. The one that would refuse any food found it's own (my fish). What type of eel? How big? I've had great luck with clam strips. Try live ghost shrimp. I've never had anything not eat them.
