NaNO3 Calculator

Hello, I want to dose sodium nitrate, but the planted aquarium calculator only shows ammonium nitrate and potassium nitrate. (Unless I missed it somewhere.) How can I properly calculate how much sodium nitrate I need? Is it the same dosage? I read sodium nitrate is a bit more potent. Thank you!

Use the entry for potassium nitrate. It is very close. NaNO3 is 15% more potent, but you'll never notice that difference.

Thank you! Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t dosing too much too fast. It’s going into a ~350 gal system.
