Looks too large for black ich. Have you noticed any fighting in the tank, any rubbing or flashing against rocks?
It’s odd, I had a typical orange clownfish that got spots that looked similar to that for a few weeks. Then the spots went away. Not sure what this is though!
could be bruising from fighting. Keep an eye on aggression and see if it goes away. Can you also post water params and how long you had the fish?Haven't seen any, although I do have a very large female tomato that thinks she owns the tank and likes to chase all the other fish or of her corner.

I've had the fish for two weeks, purchased at a reputable lfs.
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 40 (working on this hand in hand with the phosphates, carbon dosing now and considering purigen)
Salinity: .26
Mag: 1400
Alk: 10
Calc: 460
PH: 8
Phosphates: .34 (currently battling to lower with GFO reactor and less feeding)
Alk, calcium and phosphates all checked with Hanna.
My clown was still juvenile at that time and it’s strange after the spots went away the fish matured and got larger. Not saying that’s what’s happening for you or that had anything to do with the spots lol
