Dont know how this guy got into my corner over flow but he did. Any suggestions as to how to get him out easily? My fish trap won’t fit. I could pull the emergency stand pipe out and flush him down the emergency overflow into a net I but suspect this will be a little traumatic

I have nothing except to wish you good luck! Those buggers are hard to get in an open tank with no structure.

Double wah

What I can try is to pull out my primary from the top. I don’t have it glued. It is stuck into a coupling. That will leave about 4 inches of water in the bottom of the over flow. I wish I had longer arms

To be honest, your original idea of flushing him down the emergency overflow is not that far fetched. How big is the pipe? Is it a straight shot down? He may not like it at the time, but I think fish have short memories.

High risk tolerance. Low frustration tolerance. So maybe I should flush him. Any others?

just slowly lower the net into the overflow and catch it. I've caught fish like that before. The emergency overflow sounds hectic. Just use a net

Success. Two nets, 2 pairs of 24 inch forceps, 2 people. Lol. Cursing
