Regular green algae IMO.
How long has this tank been running?
Any test results from the last couple of day.
Do you mix your own saltwater?

Tanks been up about 3 weeks now, I do mix my own water using RO/DI and Red Sea Coral Pro salt mix to a specific gravity of 1.025-.026. Using Red Sea marine test kit my Params are: 8.2 pH, 8-9dkh, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 0 nitrates. 0 Po4 using a Hanna checker I picked up Saturday and plan on upgrading to the Hanna checkers for everything else soon. I just replaced all bulbs yesterday as well which I believe to have been contributing to the problem as 2 were not performing correctly and I just noticed it, we're doing good then started seeing this and did some reading and started checking.

Those Params are from yesterday and specific gravity from tonight.

Your Po4 and No3 readings could be false because of the algae as it consumes both before you can test for it.
3 weeks is still a very young system and IMO not done through the complete cycle yet.
Any livestock in the tank?

Yeah got some clean up crew as well as a few fish, used some Dr. Tim's One and Only as advised to help the tank cycle. Seems to have worked for the most part but I'm wondering what could've been the perp in why this outbreak happened besides probably insufficient lighting which has been corrected.

I have that all over one of my QT tanks. The lights are super super SUPER old and the tank is fed heavily.
