So the 75lbs of Marco Rock for my reefer 350 came in. This is what I came up with short of breaking out the hammer and chisel. The small rock in front is going to be chopped in half vertically and serve as my green polyp island as well as letting you see more of the caves and swim throughs. I'd love any thoughts, feedback, tips etc as I've never done anything like this.

My only tip would be to play with different layouts and go with the one YOU like. I will occasionally move mine around in the tank to create a different look. Good luck with it

Seems like many reefers like the two distinct islands look, with significant separation between them. You might consider it to add some height to your aquascape, provide for increased flow, etc.

Looks good to my. My only slight critique would be to knock off that square end of the rock in the middle

I think you got it. The only thing I would do, and this is personal preference, is like mikedawg said. 2 seperate islands are kinda nice. I just recently took down my rock wall and did 2 islands. One was higher than the other, and I left about 8 inches between.

But at the end of the day you are the one looking at it. Take some pix, post them and then go back and look at the post like someone else had posted it. Kinda like you mentioned last post

No matter what I am sure it will be great.

I live the overall design....if I changed anything it would be to chisel out some of each rock(s) to give the rock a more interesting appearance.....less like a collection of round rocks. Right now, every rock is about the same size. Just my opinion obviously :)
