My LFS got this rock with a bunch of shrooms, including this one. They are all small still, so I cant really tell if there are anymore. They want $200 for the whole rock. This store is the most expensive and well known store in the state, which makes me skeptical it's anything special at all. That being said, is this a deadpool or something else? It's red with the blue inside.

Im sorry but all this name thing makes me laugh. If you like it and you think it others would like it just get it and you can put your own name on it. thats how collector corals are made. They look good to me. it is a bit pricy but those shrooms are pretty nice

Well the name thing matters..now. before these shrooms were 20 to 50 bucks back in the days now everything that has a name has a price/value. So if you're going to spend some money best to make sure it holds its value.
But yes the name game has changes the price game and will only continue to do so.

Yep I understand and there are a bunch of named corals I like, want and will get but, if they are some corals that came in in a rock from the ocean chances are they are not the "named" corals.... just some that resemble them and therefore not going to bring the big money.

I tend to agree with this. I think a big point to the "named corals" is lineage even beyond the look. So if something comes in on a rock, it's not lineaged back through the vendor who named his coral [insert cool name here] regardless of what it looks like. So then the question begins to be: "Are these legit [insert cool name here]?" The answer if not lineaged back to the OG coral is "no" because the name implies look AND lineage.
