I got this BTA from the LFS today. It's in my QT. it was marked as a green but it doesn't look very green to me. What do you guys think? The tips actually look very pink. Any chance I got a rose for the price of a green ?

Looks to be a bleached rose.With good water and feeding it should color back up.

def a bleached rose, diced fresh scallops/shrimp and CLEAN water it'll come back after 2 months or so... i had one that looked like a diamond came back with a gorgeous rainbow color to it

How often on the shrimp/scallops? I'll keep it in my QT so the water will be super clean.

What kind of lighting do you have on the qt?

I have an Odyssea 20" T5 high output on it but I also have a nice LED refugium light that I could put on it. It's a small QT tank

Probably, although a clown may ignore it if its not 100% healthy. I would give it a try, as I feel clowns always make for a healthier anemone.

Try to let it happen naturally. If it doesn't happen in a couple days, you may want to try and speed things up, but you may not have to cross that road.

If the maroon fails and you can trade it, get a clarkii mine went from hosting a huge toadstool to my bta within an hour of putting it in tank. Clarkiis look way better in your tank than in the store, they get super black between the stripes and hes got quite the personality.

I actually have a Clarkii in my 75g and u are right, he's a cool little guy. He is in my seahorse tank and is doing great in there so I don't want to move him since I really don't think I would find one that meshes with the ponies as well again.
