Hi all. I’m setting up an auto salt water system in my basement. My tank is on the first floor. I’m using apex dosing system with a goal of 3 gallon/day water exchange. Here’s my question. I need to connect the tubing from the apex dos to extension tubing to be able to connect the sump and the salt water reservoir. The OD is 6mm. The smallest shark bite I found was 1/4 inch which isn’t holding it. I found a 6mm connect but it is made of brass and
Polybutylene. Will this be okay or will it leach into my water?

There are adapters that allow you to use rodi tubing right at the DOS Adapters the brass that is there wont contact your water as these thread over the tubing adapter thats on the DOS.
