Been scraping these off my glass almost daily for a few months. I've probably scraped off thousands by now. I assumed they were some kind of sponge but I'm realizing today that they might be nerite eggs?

What are they?

You are correct, they are eggs. I get these in my tank as well

Agreed. Tough to get off pumps. I still have some of those white circles on pumps from years ago. Even after bleaching, acid washing, and tons of scrubbing.

Do any of the ones that hatch ever reach adulthood in the aquarium? Or get eaten for the most part? I just noticed a few lines of eggs on my glass over the last week.

I have a few different species that make it to adulthood regularly, mainly trochus and some mystery snail that I have no idea where it came from. I've never noticed baby nerites hatch/survive but they hide all day and clean at night so it's possible that I just don't see them.

Nerites have a larval stage before they're baby snails, so they've most likely been eaten or sucked up by filtration
