I have a 10 gallon aquarium with 8-9 lbs of love rock that I am currently cycling with the Red Sea Reef Mature kit. I got a deal that I couldn’t pass up on an AI Hydra 32, which I know is overkill in this tank, but figured I could turn the intensity way down to utilize it until I set up my larger DT in 6-12 months. I mounted it approximately 13” above the water. The LFS instructed me to leave the lights off for the first week and then slowly ramp them up to a fraction of their power to balance algae growth and coralline algae health.

I need assistance with how to set up the lights spectrum and intensity. I have found previous threads that recommended a spectrum to simulate the AB+ (Picture 1). I didn’t know if I should just decrease each spectrum by a certain percent to keep them proportional (and if so how much), or just adjust the total wattage dial (picture 2) that puts the UV/blues/purples/ all equal and the red/green/white very low (again what wattage and how much to adjust)? Thanks in advance for any help and assistance!

Myself if I had live rock I'd have the lights on now...I'd turn all blues and violets back to 30 40 % reds and greens off and white at very little like 5 % over the next few weeks I'd be ramping it up to where I wanted them. And in the meantime start adding cuc.
