New arrivals!

Yeah I let Rich know as soon as I saw the box and he gave me his number and said to call him if anything changed (about their health). I did notice that this box had 2 flights, where usually coming from Florida they get on a direct flight to Dulles. So maybe it was because it was Saturday, who knows. I'd wager the airline guys are less than careful. Bottom line is they're good and I'd be confident ordering from JCA again. One of those freak things I think.

there are always things that we cannot control as hobbiest when dealing shipping companies. the only thing we can do is try our best for the animals to be as comfortable and safe as possible during their trip.. but even then there's still a high risk involve shipping an animal. we don't have any control on what hands touch and deal with the package and how they handle the package once it leaves our hands. another thing we fight with is mother nature. anyway, I'm so glad the clowns did make it and seemed to be happy albeit their adventure. just gives more credit to JCA's packing technique. I've also seen nothing but good about JCA and I'm sure JCA would've taken care of any issues. anyway, I don't think shipping was the main subject of the post and I think the OP is just happy to receive some beautiful clowns. let's try to stick to the subject from here on. :)

Glad everything turned out ok.

I've shipped several hundred fish without incidence. Unfortunately I can't control how FedEx or Ups handle the packages. A friend of mine brought 4 fishes from sea and reef and 2 came in doa. The other two came in mocha and not solid black. Things happen. I would of stood behind my product. I used the name of this company because it seems like you are real familiar with them.

wow
I cant control how your friend 's fish arrived or how you ship your fish! and I hope you would have taken care of it if the fish didnt make it.
I am just thinking even when I go to the lfs they double bag my fish just for the ride home. this is exactly why

I am glad the fish are fine thats all that matters.

Gorgeous fish! Thanks for sharing!!

Made a couple quick videos, not great, just with my iPhone but I had them so figured I'd load them. I had taken some pics but they aren't coming out very good, the videos show them better I think. Need to work on my camera skills I guess. They found the flower pot and now have been hanging out there. They aren't very aggressive feeders, they don't really go after food when I feed, they just are pretty nonchalant about it. Worries me a bit for when they are in the main tank but I guess they'll learn quick once there. That'll be a few weeks anyway.
