So did they ship today? I ordered 2 controllable fixtures on the 14th.

Same here, I ordered on the 17th and wondering if they shipped out yesterday.
They will ship on Monday, or the first week of November. There was a delay due to production delays on the housing. There is also a 24", and 32" version coming out, which will cover a 36", or 48" tank respectively.

The new versions:

How much will the 24" models cost and when will they be available?

Got my seriously thinking about selling my Radions. 2- 24" over a 75 gal over kill??

Not overkill, the 24" ones have the same number of diodes as the regular 16" ones, just more coverage. The 32" one, however, would cover your whole tank in one shot. The cost will likely be around $5-600

Awesome lights ! Seriously considering them. Two of these with 90 degree would be great on my 48 inch 120. Any chance of seeing some tank shots?
When they come in, I'll throw them over my DT for some pics before they ship.

Are you going to do the same LeD color variations on this longer light, or just blue and white?
Looking forward to the ones I ordered - timing is no big deal, just eager to have them. thanks for getting back to me.

Loving that 32!!!!! I want one now darn it ;)
ya, they're gonna be sweet

Of course they will have the full spectrum colors! That is just the manufacturer's pic.

Would the longer light be enough for a 48x24x16 sps dominated tank?
Yes, it would work very well.

The 32" light might be the ticket for me to get into LED's. Would a center brace on a 48" tank greatly effect the output?

Will light manufacturers ever build a non DIY that has a space void of kights in the middle where the brace would be? That's why I won't buy a Maxspect; the middle cluster would be directly above my brace lol (love the light though, if only my tank was rimless)

unless your brace is 6" across, you should be fine.

Ouch, Bummer..... guess the 16's are out for me :( Well at least I know how much im saving for now, Thanks for the update.
