Just a snap shot of new addition, he is very little smaller than my chromis. I have all ways loved triggers, hoping he will be as good a citizen when he gets bigger.

Is he in with coral you want to keep. You wont have them for long.

He is in a full reef tank. I've never heard of one bothering corals at all, & usually don't even bother shrimps which is the only thing I'm concerned about when he gets bigger.

Shrimp, Clam, snails are the things i was aware of.

Looks great jim. Looks like he is stirring up the sand too :)

LOL! Ya jim, its alittle risky, But they are beutiful fish. I would put my money that he gets a taste for snails, hermits and shrimp. especially as he gets older. I would say he could nip corals, but more likely to take after the inverts., good luck and keep a net handy just incase. (feed him well would probly be the best way to curb his apetite)

I like it in fact I'm want one to now.

Alll this keeping sps trimmed back sounds like a plus to me. Can i borrow it for a while Jim? :)

I have kept one in my mixed reef for years. He doesn't bother snails, hermits or corals. Now my black blenny on the other hand is an evil fish that bites my blue tang, moves my frags and I even saw the bugger take a swipe at an sps colony....

I made the mistake of putting a black blenny in my reef, it didnt take long to find out what was killing my SPS! after that I researched and found out the black ones were not reef safe.

Dang i didn't know they were not reef safe. I got mine from a friend who was lowering the fish load in his tank.... Argh..... Well guess I'll be doing some new aquascaping to get him out.....

You may get lucky with that blenny, but after I caught mine eating my stuff I researched and found it was a common problem with them.
