Hey folks,

Still new to this whole reef thing. Are these the beginnings of new polyps, or something more sinister?

Depends? If you feed those new polyps to your sister then they are something more sinister.

Happy New Year!

hi ,look like zoa eating nudibranchs.
Yep, either Nudis or Zoa Spiders. Unfortunately new polyps won't grow out of the side of the stalk like that, but would bud off of the foot where it's attached to substrate. Dip it and any other zoas around if there are any. You'll need to do it ever few weeks for a few months IME, as the eggs they lay will survive and take time to hatch.

Definitely not new polyps..... Good look with this one!

Did you dip it? Do you have any wrasses
Dipped it when I first put it in the tank like 3 months ago. I have this, a GSP, and a mushroom. Haven't added anything to the tank in a bit

If you have any room in your tank get a six line wrasse it will take care of all them types of things

Those look like spiders. Watch the polyps they will live in tbe polyps and the dips won't kill the.
