New tank micro bubbles!

Fusion Pro 2 10 Gallon Bundle AIO Aquarium I am getting micro bubbles in the display! No protein skimmer. The chamber that has the pump is getting water about 2" above the pump and I think it should be getting water. I have the media basket in the first chamber and the heater in the middle chamber.

IMO that is not enough water above the pump. Too much water movement caused by the pump in that little amount of water causing the bubbles. Again, just my opinion

You are right but what is causing the low water level?

Usually either the tank isn't filled enough or your mechanical filtration is getting clogged slowing down the flow to the point that the pump is pushing out more water than filtration allows through.
