New tank sand problem.

What is this on my sand and how do I get rid of it. Tank is six months old.

My guess is ,, its just new tank ,, new sand ,, you get this with new systems ,, I have it in my new tank ,, its pretty much gone away ,, but if I move the sand around any ,, it comes back in that spot ,, time and some of those sand dwelling snail things will help ,, its silicates in the sand ,, nothing you can do about it ,, just takes time ,,
 
If it’s a nano, take the tank apart, rinse out the sand, put it back together clean it doesn’t harm anything even if you rinse it in tap initially. No it doesn’t harm the bac, or redo your cycle, it just fixes your issue. If it’s a large tank then the waiting game begins, a long, long wait
